The now familiar images of The Fall of the Baghdad Statue have brought spasms of pleasure to all who knew this war to be just and good...why the Iraqis were practically begging us to bomb them and conquer their country so that we could liberate them into a blissful world of democracy and consumerism.
As it turns out, Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld's collective glee was probably more because their entirely manufactured photo-op revolution was portrayed as a spontaneous grassroots event in all of the American media.
