Rants: gross injustice

Now for something entirely serious. I emailed several friends many months ago a link to http://www.ciriello.com/ the website of photojournalist Ralph Ciriello. His work was one of the major inspirations for going ahead with FrontLineDispatch. I was in awe of his exploits. I have been communicating with Ralph for the past several months and he always took the time to respond to my questions and offer his encouragement.
Yesterday, on the second day of targetting journalists, Ralph was killed by Israeli security forces during their military action (dare i say genocide? no, any criticism could only mean i was an anti-semitic neo-nazi) in Palestinian territories.
Of course it is being dismissed as collateral damage, but the Israelis haven't even bothered claiming it was an accident. If you look at the site, it is not hard to imagine that his work made him a target. I had looked forward to meeting him, as there are very few people so bold to do such solid work and take such risks. Nobody will be able to match his level of commitment and excellence.

He was so young - only 42 years.
I am sorry.
Only the link to yesterday worked for me - but just as long as I see his face....
It sounds as though he had a multitude of serious wounds.Too bad he couldn't get to a hospital.
Perhaps - if there's an important text or images -
you should publish the ciriello.com again.
